The hotel itself is really cozy, our room was clean and personnel was very helpful. Really enjoyed peace and quiet of this place. Great value for money - we will definitely come back for longer stay.

  This is the second time we've stayed in the Hostal Santuario in the last 2 years. San José is a fantastic little town in Cabo de Gata National Park, and definitely the place to stay! You have easy access to the park for trekking, beach, etc., but also you find yourself in a lively little town. We (again) asked for a room on the secon - Everything was astonishingly good. Although not many of the staff speak English they are very accommodating and helpful if you have a query. The breakfasts are wholesome and varied with everything you could need and expect. Whilst not overly large the bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, toiletries are provided daily and the mini fridge and free safe are a real bonus.   Our hotel was only 2* we felt it should be at least 3*. Our room was great value for money with a private terrace and amazing views.. was a perfect get away place for myself and my boyfriend. The staff was really helpful and lovely. We was located a short walk from the town and the hotel offered a bike hire service which was fab and showed us all... wat mensen zeggen » the route to take. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would recommend this hotel to anyone. - We were here in the off season and got an excellent room with a great view of the sea at a great price. Really enjoyed our dinner at the hotel restaurant and nice breakfast the next morning. Staff at reception and at the restaurant were great.

  The hotel was very comfortable and friendly and also a bit quirky. Great location near all the shops and restaurants and only a short drive from the beaches in the national park. I would definitely go back and highly recommend the MC - Breakfast was EXCELLENT.
