Prachtig uitzicht over de tafelberg, prima ontbijt regeling, mooiekeuken en een hele mooie kamer - De kamer was erg ruim en de badkamer erg goed. Er waren ook afrikaanse stekkers voorzien van europese converters.

Everything. From the time we checked until we left we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and the food in the restaurant. The overall hotel premises are well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it.
When Hilton take over in April 2013, we hope that they will continue to keep up the high standards of the present management.

From the minute we arrived the service was impecable our car was parked no fuss, we were early for the book in but were offered a complimentary beverage whilst waiting and the pleasant surprise we were upgraded to a larger famiy room
with the best mountain view ever the convenience of being connected to the shopping mall is also a plus the room

We were overnighting prior to a long flight the next day to Dubai/Kabul. This could not have been a nicer stay. Car parked, check in seamless, room very nice. Our view was an ocean view which was great. The convenience to the waterfront activities and shopping was excellent. Late night coffee and cake in front of the fireplace was superb. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best we have had, just fabulous. Staff were all on their game, excellent service.

Fabulous place. The owners are accommodating, friendly, practical, the rooms spacious and airy and a wonderful balcony running around with a direct view of the mountain. Small things like free videos to watch, wonderful spacious common rooms, delightful outside breakfast, and that they thoughtfully put on the floor heating in case I was cold was

Very clean and hygienic in all areas of the guesthouse. Run by very friendly and warm hosts and staff. A great selection of DVD films to choose from, even a selection for more broadminded folks. Breakfast is great and well presented. Awesome view of table mountain and location to nearby attractions is a stone's throw. We stayed in room number 5 and the bed was huge! Premium quality linen and bedding make for an amazing night's rest.

The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices and value for money; use of the business centre at no extra cost was a godsend - see wi-fi
The entrance/lobby very spacious and felt homely. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again
