The reception on our arrival was friendly and helpful. Over the last
four years we have stayed at several B&Bs, Hotels/Guest Houses
in South Africa and the De Hoek rates as one of our best and most
enjoyable places. The room was clean and comfortable, well furnished and
with a superb bathroom. It had good air conditioning, tv and WiFi.

The personal touches were very nice (e.g., turn-down service that included port). Check-in was incredibly efficient -- we were in our room within about 45 seconds. The location in downtown Stellenbosch is fantastic -- across the street from a beautiful church and just one block from dozens of cafes and restaurants. And, of course, it's convenient to tons of wineries. Breakfast was served promptly, was delicious, and included everything one could want. This is a great guest house.

The owners and staff of this Guest House made us very welcome. The room was furnished to a high standard and all the facilities were immaculately maintained. The breakfast was first class and the pool and garden area was perfect to sit and relax in after a busy day sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend the Summerwood

De gastvrouw is een hele lieve, aardige, gastvrije dame. De kamers waren best ruim en van alles voorzien wat men nodig heeft. Ontbijt is geweldig en de omgeving van B&B is prachtig.
We komen hier zeker snel weer terug -

Besigheim heeft verschillende accomodaties op diverse plaatsen. Wij verbleven op Blenheim 24. Er zijn er 3 units. Omdat wij naast een oudere meneer de enige huurders waren hadden wij voldoende privacy. Winkelcentrum en historisch centrum van Stellenbosch op loopafstand. -

If you go to Stellenbosch, you definitely had to book a wine tour with tuktukstellies. Good service, nice guy and a real experience. -
The luxury apartment had everything I needed, was always clean and comfortable. It was central and the owner was always ready to help.
