  Beautiful views of the harbor - some rooms have picture windows with sliding patio doors to a full view of the harbor (ours did). Parking is somewhat limited to the front of the entrance, but it is free and more is available around the back. Staff were very nice and helpful. Within walking distance (although several blocks) to Boulder's Beach and the penguins - Superb location in centre of Simon's Town with spacious rooms overlooking yacht basin and False Bay.   Of all the places I have stayed across the World (and there have been a lot!) I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere as special as this. It is a glass eyrie perched on the side of a mountain with THE most spectacular views over False Bay. The accommodation is sumptuous and you feel a million dollars staying here. We stayed in Sunrise (the suite)... wat mensen zeggen » and, if I lived to be 100, I would never tire of the views from the floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was super-comfortab - Great location with stunning view over False Bay from the public area and rooms! During our stay in SA Aqua Terra was by far the best B&B. Rooms were very well-equipped and super-clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and useful advice from Jenny, our host. It is a pity we could only stay there for one night. But we will come back!

  We loved our stay in the upper deck at the Boathouse. The room was spacious, well designed and very comfortable. We had an amazing view over the bay from our private balcony and all of the amenities that we needed (kettle, fridge etc). The best thing of all was the owners, Therese and Lud, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and interesting. ... wat mensen zeggen » The breakfasts were amazing and included home-made muffins, which were delicious, and if you couldn't fit them in after a very tasty cooked breakfast - The owners were lovely and helpful, couldn't do enough - (fresh choc muffins in room each day). Accommodation was great, we stayed in family "apartment" which was ideal space. Loved the games room and swimming pool (but would be even better in summer!). Ideal base to visit both city (capetown) and coast (sharks, whales, cape point). Would love to come back for longer!
