The breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

  We loved the tranquility and the setting. It was a most relaxing time. Maryliese was fantastic she did all she could to help and make our stay comfortable. We loved her and thought she did so well under loads of pressure. She deserves a medal or a R2000 raise in pay.

  The apartments are very spacious indeed, my girlfriend and I had three bedrooms and three bathrooms between us!. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard indeed and were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always willing to assist answering any questions. The hotel is actually apartments in a shopping mall which makes it safe (on top of a permanent person at the reception). Staff is helpful and friendly helping you out with any query (restaurant reco and booking, day trips,etc). 5min walking from coast and restaurants.

  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   My wife and I had an excellent 1 night stay at the Nwanedi Country House, which is located in a very quiet, tranquil area near Paarl, right in the middle of the vineyard. The views around are awesome you can only dream about when travelling through the "Wine Land". The bathroom was the largest I've ever seen anywhere in the world (and bigger than many bedrooms I've stayed in). The bedroom was spotless. Both the owner (Jean) and the manager (Tjaart) were absolutely fantastic. They were constantly working hard to make me feel welcomed and kept asking for my preferences.
