  My boyfriend and I spent two night here and found it to be easily accessible to all areas of interest as well as the downtown area. Staff was friendly and host was informative and friendly. Wonderful treat to take a swim and wi-fi access was great. Breakfast in the morning was top notch, room was clean and fully equipped for tea, coffee as well ... wat mensen zeggen » as refrigerator and microwave. The welcome Sherry was a wonderful treat after the long drive from Cape Town. I would recommend this to anyone looking - Earthbound B&B was an amazing place to stay. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel as though we were at home. The room was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and extremely comfortable. A lovely and very tasty breakfast was served in a basket right to our room. Wish we could come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and all the awesome outdoor space. One of the best stays on our whole journey. Highly recommended!!

From the time we checked until we left we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and the food in the restaurant. The overall hotel premises are well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it. When Hilton take over in April 2013, we hope that they will continue to keep up the high standards of the present management.

  The staff were fantastic and made me feel right at home. I can honestly say that of all the places I have stayed, I would rate the staff at Oakhurst among the best.   Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.
