  We booked A La Marthas for our last night of a month long holiday and wanted somewhere to stay near the airport. It is in an excellent location for the airport with brilliant directions. What we didn't expect was such a beautiful, well appointed guest house. It is obvious that a lot of time and thought has gone into the decor and facilities pr... wat mensen zeggen » ovided. We would have liked to stay longer. - This is our 2nd. time at A La Martha'sand we weren't disappointed.   We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The shops, waterfront, restaurants and a welcoming golf course were a short drive away. - ... wat mensen zeggen » The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.
