The best hotel I've ever stayed in hands down! The staff was amazing! Else the owner is always there to greet you and help with anything you need. We came without really having an agenda and by the time we finished breakfast she had booked all of our excursions! Everything about the trip was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and offered help assistance with any queries we had.
The rooms were comfortable and exactly what we were looking for on our 11 day stay.
The holiday had the perfect balance of nights out for a few drinks, relaxing on the beach and also taking in all the attractions Cape Town has to offer. Sea Point as a location is ideal as you are not too far, bay car, from the CBD or Clifton beach/Camps Bays.

itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

It was an excellent location from which to explore Cape Town and the surrounding countryside inclsuding the Cape of Good Hope. I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone.
