At the foothills of the beautiful Platberg Mountain in Harrismith, the Jewel of the Free State, lies our comfortable accommodation. Established by a mother and daughter team, we aim to provide South African hospitality and service.
Historical Harrismith, with its gracious old buildings, beautiful gardens and rich history, is surrounded by Boer War battlefields like Spionkop. You can also find historical sites for ‘Voortrekkers’ like Retiefklip, the Drakensberg Mountains and Golden Gate National Park. An airfield is situated right next to town.

Can't say enough good things about this place!....we flew in quite late in to j'burg from overseas.....arrrived well after midnight...and left at first light......first time staying in harrismith....directions were great...well signed even without directions...welcomed like family..... Will definatly be staying here again during the year.... Personnel at the Amadudu Guest House made you feel at home. The Amadudu was very comfortable, very clean, and breakfast was fantastic. I would definetly recommend it and would not hesitate to stay at the Amadudu again.alle beoordelingen »
