Nice people, very helpful and honest. I booked for 2 people in error and was charged for 1. We had a double booking issue for one night, but that was resolved with an equally friendly guest house.

As a couple with young kids, it was an absolute dream staying at Manaar House as it was so kid friendly that our kids did not want to go out because of the toys provided in our section of the house! The welcoming was good despite the fact that I arrived very late past check-in time. The elderly guys(managers) were very hospitable n friendly. The rooms were very clean, felt homely. Breakfast was lovely freshley prepared. I would definitely go back there some time in the near future.

Is an oldish rambling property on a steep hill not too far from the
central beach area. Not the easiest place to find because the
authorities have changed the name of the street but worth finding.

The place itself is hidden from the street - you wouldn't know
it's there. Once inside its like a secret garden. The whole place
has a lovely light and airy feel. The terrace is a great place to relax
over coffee, drinks or breakfast with views through the palms and trees
of the ocean. The rooms are lovely with luxurious touches and a small
private outdoor space. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly,
carrying our luggage to and from the car and making sure we had
everything we needed.
