This was the first time we had ever seen the sea and it was the holiday of a lifetime. It was the only time we have ever stayed in a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Gogo Brenda. We were given a fridge for our room without us even having to ask, because of the baby. Every day the children woke up early in anticipation of the wonderful breakfast with all the different foods: fruit juice, yogurt, toast, muffins,eggs, bacon, sausages, everything nice to eat. The hotel is very central and is quite lovely. It has everything that
you need. The view is absolutely stunning. It is close to Ushaka and the
Sun Coast Casino. If you do not want to use your car there are the
"People Mover" buses that you can travel on. The room was
pleasantly comfortable and quite spacious. The breakfast had a wonderful
selection to choose from.
The nice location and the wonderful view from my room (507). The
reception and the cleaning personal were all very kind, friendly
and helpful. The price was very honest. Nearby you find every
think you need.
I liked the fact that it is being renovated and it's gona be the best. Otherwise it's a nice little hotel I really felt at home. I enjoyed some peace and quiet.
The rooms, I stayed in three different ones, were newly renovated and very comfortable. The breakfast was great too. Rudy makes fantastic scambled eggs.
I loved my refurbished room with sea views. I feel happy when I am there. I first discoverd this little gem in September 2011.
Brenda and Bongani were great hosts. and the woman that cleaned my room 502 on Saterday she is amazing.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.I love the fact that the place is closed to the beach.
Near the ICC and other venues, and pricewise and location is excellent.
The only thing i was looking for was to relax close to the seaside.

The tv did not work properly, most channels were very hazy/snowy.
At the time I was there, the Hotel had no internet (they are providing
wireless access they said). At the breakfast I missed some cheese or ham
(besides that there was everything I expected).
For now nothing really.
I didn't drink in the bar. I walked through once and it had a terrible smell to it. I'd love to clean it up and run it for a while. It could be a real money maker.
The hotel has no smoking area otherwise everything is fine. Ooh the breakfast please the bacon must just be fresh it was dry and it was like its a biltong.
I did not like the carpet on the floor it has stain on it and not user friendly because my friend is suffering from sinus and they refuse to change the room 4 her.The was no mini fridge in our room.The rooms need to be renovated.Bathroom needs upgrade.
Difficulty in finding parking one should think of putting up a sign in the front of the hotel parking bays. Reserved for hotel guests?.

The rooms need air conditioning and the menu for breakfast should be reviewed with more of a variety to accommodate the Indian culture.
The breakfast was a disaster.
The chef , the carpet is dirty and my room didn't have a bar fridge I had juice and yoghurts for kids had to throw away.
Room was too small,not enough space to move around,dust and sand blowing into room under door, breakfast menu not good they dont cater for people who dont eat pork.
Online pictures are deceiving, building older than protrayed.
The breakfast lacked variety and there where tables left uncleared
for long periods of time. The bacon was over done and was dry and
hard as a pose to crispy. The eggs were done before hand and only
warmed up on request which made them rubbery. The serving areas where
cluttered and untidy.
On the last night of our stay i woke up in the middle of the night to huge roaches on my bed, wall and floor. I must have killed 5 that night :-(.

The staff were surly...... The room ( 5th Floor) was barely adequate !
No aircon..... Everything was ' tired" I believe that they are
renewing 'stuff' however, as a Groupon Customer... They barely
glanced at you !!! Not good enough! No thanx.......................
