  The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed. We were anxious that we weren't going to have a place to stay s... wat mensen zeggen » ince it was 2300 hrs when we arrived, but he didn't hesitate to open the gate to let us in. The staff there, servers, cook and office assistant, There - We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!

  Hedge House was great beyond our expectations. Jan and her family and staff (who are more like family) are all just wonderful- very helpful, friendly, welcoming. The breakfasts were full, cooked to order, and absolutely lovely and delicious- and different every day. The grounds are green and gorgeous, looking up at Table Mountain in all it's glory... wat mensen zeggen » . The kids loved the trampoline and the family animals- dogs, a cat, and an aviary of sweet birds. The pool looked lovely but unfortunately it was too - My stay at Hedge House was brilliant. I was there for almost a week for a conference and to visit Cape Town. Judy was incredibly friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process. She arrange my pick up from the airport and set me up since my arrival in the morning of the first day. The room was brilliant, on a corner with great views, lots of space and a huge bathroom with shower and bath. The stay the entire week was fabulous. Judy was really helpful all the time.
