  The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

  This place was absolutely wonderful! The staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. It is minutes away (walking) from downtown Cape Town and a 20 minute taxi ride from beautiful Table Mountain, which you have an amazing view of from the hotel itself.   I was staying at the Parliament Hotel for 3 nights with my partner some days ago. The hotel is very well situated, near almost everything that tourists would like to see in Cape Town: The Company Gardens, the castle, Greenmarket, Long Street etc. It is only 30 minutes walk for the Waterfront (the port and its shops, the Aquarium etc), and very clo... wat mensen zeggen » se (5 minutes) to the Hop on Hop off buses (double deckers to visit the peninsula: http://www.citysightseeing.co.za/). There are supermarkets quite cl - The staff were excellent I really felt like home, they did everything they could to accommodate all my questions and hopes. They even organized in matter of two hours notice a rental car with a good price and horse riding safari for me and printed all maps for me to find the place even without asking. The restaurant next door that serves also the breakfast has two amazing Italian guys running it, the food is brilliant (absolutely brilliant one of the best pastas and breakfast I've ever gotten

When I was unwell one day, she insisted on driving me to the Medi-clinic herself and coming back for me later. The full cooked breakfasts were large. There's a ceiling fan which we didn't use as the outside temperature was pleasant. The bathroom is spacious, with a bath and a separate big shower.
