  We booked one night here before a domestic flight and it turned out to be one of the nicest places we booked in South Africa. Every single interaction with the owners and personnel was warm and respectful. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon arrival our room was pre-heated (very hospitable!), we had a nice chat with the owners, ... wat mensen zeggen » luggage was taken care of, ... Breakfast was very good. We would recommend staying here after a flight or before a flight or even when visiting Jo'bur - Extremely welcoming and well organised. We had a late arrival and left very early. Pam organised a car to pick us at the airport and to bring us back there on the following day. The room was nice, very clean. Excellent way to spend the night when you have a connection at the OR Tambo airport. Far better than the hotels on the airport premises. Very friendly staff. We were pleased overall, thanks Pam.

  I was very well taken care of by the staff. I was in transit from Rwanda through Johannesburg to the USA. They picked me up from the airport, provided a room for the night and also gave me a day room. Meals were also available. She described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when completed in about 2 mos time. Food was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely stay there again. - The staff and the owners were so lovely to deal with. Free internet, free airport pick up and drop off, free shuttle to areas locally (shopping center etc) We ate at the Guest House and like other reviewers - we thought the food was exceptional! We needed to be close to the airport so the location was perfect. The owners couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay

Great!!!, You can't beat that! 2. It's located in the 'ghetto'. People were on the streets, not homeless people just seemingly 'aimless' people. And it was - We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.

  I loved this hotel. I stayed here primarily because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. Even before I got there, the staff was amazing - very responsive to emails, both clearly instructing me what to do when I arrived for airport pickup and also assisting me with putting together a program of sightseeing during my 18 hours on the ground. Airport pickup was just as des - The Staff were the best from the drivers, office staff cleaners and the kitchen staff. They became like family and I was sorry to have to say goodbye. The food - especially breakfasts were delicious filling and nutritious. Actually have not a single complaint. So appreciative of the wifi connection too.
