I booked a regular double with patio view but was upgraded to 2-level room with the Moika channel view (cannot thank the hotel staff enough for that!). From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one.   The location is very good, it takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the city center if you go by foot and just 5 minutes to the nearest Metro station. Near the hotel you can easily find some small cafes and shops. Actually the hotel ocuppies several rooms in a standard residential house, with the total number of rooms equaling to 6.
