  Very professional and helpful staff who responded quickly and positively to my email enquiries before we left England. On arrival we were offered a free upgrade from a de-luxe double room to a suite; we were amazed and delighted to accept! Reception staff were always willing to provide information about transport and local attractions and could no... wat mensen zeggen » t have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive with fresh, tasty fare on offer every day. The impressive Royal Ar - I liked the location which was just below the Castle at the edge of teh old town. We had the Wavel tram stop just next to us whihc ran both into town , around it and into Kazimierz as well as furhter afield such as the Bohotara Ghetto. The large rooms were great, especially int eh heat. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and we had clean sheets daily. The building is lovely. Had we required it, there was also the very good value Pod Wavelem restaurant on site. The reception staff

  Rooms are small but very clean, bright and comfortable. The position is perfect, between Kazimierz (the Jewish Quarter full of bars, pubs, restaurants) and historical city centre, you can reach everything by walking. If you need something, you only have to ask. When I visit a new city, I love staying in a familiar place, that i - Room was quite small and very basic, but wonderfully renovated. Wonderful heating and very friendly, relaxed, helpful manager of the hotel. He speaks wonderfully English. Hotel is 20 - 25 minutes from Central Station by foot. From there connection to the airport. Kiosk, and a little supermarket with good prices and (a part of the week) long opening-hours, are very close. Hotel is as well only a short distance away from Wawel, the old Royal Castle.
