  The staff was very friendly - free laundry! There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ... Only 1-1/2 miles from the airport. I highly recommend the Scandic @the ... wat mensen zeggen » Bergen Airport ... It was a great base for the fjord trips and enjoying the city. - The bedroom was clean and a relaxing environment with modern, interesting styling and decoration. The bathroom was well laid out with high quality fittings to complement the wet room shower design. Breakfast was the usual hot and cold buffet with plenty of variety.

  There it was! The iconic Bryggen in full view from our hotel room window. The Scandic Strand could not have been better sited. Below us was the famous Fish Market and the Vagen Waterway, with only a short walk to the Floyen Mountain funicular. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and more than adequate. Front desk... wat mensen zeggen » staff Christer and Linn were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The only downside was late night music from a waterfront bar which kept us awake o - Room was very large and very comfortable for a family of four. The staff was accommodating, breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We had taken it as a stopover before our trip of the Fjords, the hotel was a great place to spend the night specially since we traveled from Oslo and reached late, there were enough places to grab a bite even at 11 in the night.
