  The location was ideal for us because we were attending a conference at the Rai center -15 minutes walk - and also touring Amsterdam. Dam Square was about 30 minutes walk. If one did not feel like walking, there was an excellent tram service. The hotel is a beautiful Amsterdam mansion from the 1800s across from a park.   It's a really a great place to stay at in Amsterdam. All that is said about the apartment and Guido the landlord is true. We had a fantastic time here, the center is really just 10-15 mins of walk, the place is silent and has a nice view on the Amstel river. I can recommend this place for everyone - Really nice to go "home",after a day of walking and sight seeing, and relax with a nice bath(huge clean tub)and a cup of herbal tea. We also saved money buying a muffin the night before and have our coffee and muffin in the am. before going out. The location is very convenient to all canal boat stops, on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood.

It's a great place to stay, a very friendly owner who can arrange anything you want, very close in the city centre.   Lovely little place in a great location, a short walk into city centre. I knew I would have to park motorcycle on street, but found a convenient place almost outside hotel. Being on holiday, I missed the e-mail sent from the hotel enquiring on our arrival time, short wait for the door to be opened. Our room and bathroom were lovely. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam.   We stayed there with a 3 month old baby and were extremely pleased with the apartment: location, tidiness, space + fact that it was on ground floor (easy with a stroller). So it's a very spacious apartment on the ground floor. We really liked the area where the apartment is , it is not to far from the centre, but in a more residential area.The Saturday market nearby was great .It was really nice that the owner was there on our arrival to greet us, with an explanation of the apartment and tips on what to in Amsterdam.

  Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, me and my wife have been in many places of the world, but this experience was the best by far. The hotel has an excellent location, right on the picturesque Prinsengracht canal surrounded by boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Te owner Martin was fantastic, and very helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms, were very spacious, elegant - The location and views from the suite could not be bettered. The suite itself was large,spotless,very comfortable,warm and with excellent ensuite facilities. The manager,Thomas,was incredibly welcoming,helpful and spoke perfect English. He also prepared an excellent breakfast which was eaten overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend and without doubt would return. Thank you Thomas for all your help. Robert and Joyce.
