  The hotel staff were very friendly/lovely and very helpfull. Lovely hotel and the room was actually large. Hotel in nice area by Botanical Gardens (Horticus Botanicus) 15-20 min walk into city centre! Definately stay there again! - quiet, friendly and close to center. 2 stars but feels like 3, to say the least.

  Nice room, very nice bathroom.room was clean. 5 minutes walk to the ferry ( to central station ). Price is right. - We stayed for 28 days at the Hotel Isis which was very reasonably priced, ideally located a short free ferry ride to the central train station and Amsterdam center, and in a quiet ethnically mixed safe neighborhood. The hotel staff... wat mensen zeggen » and owners responded to our every request resolving any needs that developed. The hotel is small and the upper floors can be a climb for seniors. We were relocated to the second floor and our luggage was carried to our room. There is an excellent Turkish restaurant s - I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The room was just perfect for my boyfriend and I and we both loved the bathroom and the bathroom shower! It was soo big that both of us could fit in it together! lol. The beds were super comfy as well, I adored them!!! There were two single beds but we put them together to make one big bed and it was soo cute and soo much fun. We both had amazing sleeps.   It was a big risk to book a two stars hotel but I took it based on the high customer review. I was right. Location was perfect, within walking distance to everything, very clean, breakfast was ok, and staff are very friendly. We booked the family suite and it was two super large rooms and a very spacious and modern bathroom. The room furniture ... wat mensen zeggen » was good. We wanted to stay in an old style hotel and this was a perfect one for us. Some reviews complained from the narrow and steep stairs. We st - The staff were really nice and helpful. When we checked in, the desk agent, named Naddy (sp?) was great. He made sure room was going to accommodate the four of us and all our luggage, and although he warned us of the huge climb to the top floor, we would most likely be happiest there. I imagine he was right. Although it was an attic-like room, it was suitable. Location of apartment is probably the best feature...also nice to have the breakfast food in the mornings.
