  The two brothers who run the apartment hotels are very nice and friendly. We had the two bedroom apartment sharing with my in-laws. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen had everything we would need, the fact that we had a separate toilet and shower was very good. People could get ready for the day quicker this way. The Hop on Hop off bus also has a - Very large 3 bedroom apartment for the price of two hotel rooms. Very large living room with flat screen tv and dvd player. Clean and modern with an excellent coffee machine, but you had to go around the corner to a supermarket to buy all supplies including sugar, special coffee packets for the machine, etc. Free laundry facilities but you need to supply your own detergent. Helpful manager when he is there. Good location close to shopping, restaurants, flea markets, canal boats.

  A fabulous apartment - lovely interior design and every comfort - and wonderful hosts, Dennis and Vincent, who could not have been more helpful with restaurants etc. The apartment is in a great central location but not noisy, close to metro, supermarket and easy walks around city to museums.   There were so many thoughtful touches in our room. We had a choice of coffees in our room, cookies, water, and a light breakfast if we wanted to eat there. We didn't, because the breakfast downstairs was so varied and in a cozy breakfast room with interesting people to visit. It was like being a favorite guest in someone's home. We were able to see more than we would have trying to figure it out on ou - This was our first trip to Amsterdam and certainly won't be our last, due mainly to the excellent service and kindness of Chris and David at the Tulip of Amsterdam. (in fact, we made a second reservation on our last day! I think that says it all!) Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped as was the rest of this lovely old refurbished building. Central location is perfect, a short walk from central station and Dam Square. Breakfast was fantastic,an amazing choice allowing peop
