  After a very long journey traveling for two weeks with all day activities, we had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel, hotel had a lovely clean pool, with great staff all the time to help. The Spa they recommend you is fantastic, one of the best massages we have had since living in India. All restaurant/shops outside take Indian - The hotel is comfortable and not perfectly decorated or sterile. It has an old world charm and no pretense. It is a great location and pretty quiet (compared to the downtown area which is close by) It is nice to stay in a place that is not generic. the staff is very friendly and eager to please. By the second day, I did not have to ask for my masala tea at breakfast-it just came.

  The hotel had a 'local' feel that I would not have felt if I had stayed in the Radisson. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
