The location in the medina with sea views is perfect. The terrace is gorgeous for sitting and reading. staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the madada room with the private terrace which was lovely for having breakfast on and the large bath was luxury .

Casa Lila is amazing! It felt like a real treat. They upgraded us to a
bigger room at no charge, and the Rose suite was phenomenal! I loved the

The reception staff was very helpful providing a map and locations with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast on the terrace was served by a calming and attentive member of staff and varied each morning. Our suite on the second floor was spacious and quiet. Located in the Medina this riad is close to everything. The terrace area was good for sunbathing and there were loungers on another floor too. Plenty of places to sit comfortably within the riad.

The staff was always willing to give us the little extras that make you feel special. The kitchen was delicious evening time and so the breakfast setting at the pool.

This place is a little gem, right in the heart of the medina in an ideal location. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the room right on the top floor with the roof terrace. It is the smallest room in the riad but still plenty of space. The bathroom is small but adequate with a fantastic powerful shower with plenty of hot water. From the first moment we arrived the owner and his staff made us feel very welcome and we really felt at home immediately.

Dar Assalama was my favourite of the two places we stayed during our 8 days stay in Morocco. It was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for four days in Essaouira. The hotel staff were very helpful at all times. It's an approximate 4 minutes walk to the market area. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and lovely. My wife wants to go back, I'm sure we will one day!
