  We stayed in this hotel on our way to Merzouga and were nicely surprised by the beautifull room and friendly staff. The hotel owns a private parking and a beautifull garden/poolside which felt like an oasis. The room was really spacious and the kasbah looks mysterious. When we couldn't find a restaurant to eat, the staff prepared us a really nice ... wat mensen zeggen » meal next to the pool. I would loved to have stayed a little longer at this hotel! - Traditioanal Morrocan Hotel. From the outside, you do not expect this 'kasbah style' hotel. The rooms were clean with airconditioning and a nice swimmingpool.

  There is no where in the world where u can stay in an exotic place with traditional food and a magnificent riad, for the price. As we say in Australia cheap as a chip. Thanks to management for sending my special pillow all the way to Casablanca by ctm. Very gratfull for that. Oh I love the garden, the pool, the painting hanging on the wall the reception Morocco style interiors just stunning. - with really great gardens with a nice swimming pool. quite. within a short walking distance to Kasbah and city center. Decent breakfast. Good wifi connection, but not into rooms. Good value for money. Friendly staff.

  My wife and I stayed at La Perle du Sud for one night when we needed to make a last minute trip to Ouarzazate. We were pleasantly surprised by the place, it is nicely decorated, and we had a spacious and comfortable room with air conditioning. The hotel has a nice (small) pool, which also had a bar that served beer during Ramadan (not the case eve... wat mensen zeggen » rywhere).   The location is great, just nearby the old kasbah, abundant breakfast and spacious rooms. The personal is very helpful (I had a health prolem and had to call a doctor). - Really nice big clean pool. Watching the stars from the pool loungers in the warm desert air. Good clean, quiet rooms and good air-con.

However, after visiting hotel and leaving details, over xmas 2010 nothing since. it is nearly impossible to get a cheap flight now so....ooooooppppssss - The staff were kind, welco... wat mensen zeggen » ming and helpful. The hotel was spotless with clean towels and bedding daily. The rooftop bar was pleasant. It was a nice walk from the hotel to the beach resort with good restaurants and small supermarkets. You can change money in the hotel.

And the the quiet pool....

  Very friendly staff that speaks also French, English and Spanish, welcomed us with the classic mint tea. Basic but spacious rooms, the fact that they have their own parking and are located in the center of the city, make it a good option. Breakfast is good, but dinner not so much, although it's not the fixed 15€ price listed on booking. It is located in a great location and the owner's young son took us on a walking tour through the farming fields to the nearby Ikelane Mosque and Jewish Quarter, which was very interesting and gave us a sense of the community. All the staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was delicious.

  The swimming pool was a welcome relief for our 2 boys, after a few days of 45 degrees in Marrakech. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a little worn and old but for the price and location for a one night stay it suited us.
