  I had a great time at Riad d'Or. It was exactly the type of accommodation I was looking for: one representing the legendary Moroccan hospitality. This means for me good food, laid-back atmosphere, water presence, beautiful Arab decoration, smiling ladies and attentive gentlemen. "I come back here again any time soon", was my thought while I was t... wat mensen zeggen » here. The two ladies there (I think the owner Amina and one employee) were extremely kind with me. They would go up from the reception till the roof - Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on which a short person or child could sleep. The common areas of this riad are among the most intricately, ornately, and opulently decorated (in a good way) of any in which I have stayed. Lots of hot water. Staff was friendl

  Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Excellent location very near Medina, but not in the midst of the ruckus. - It's a new riad and very pretty and unique inside. It's worth to stay there for the experience. It's right next to the medina (old town). All staff were very friendly.

  Beautifully restored and decorated riad with a very friendly and helpful housekeeper. Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her. - It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it. The rooms are very basic, but the view from the terrace is fantastic! Also, all of the food is home cooked and very tasty. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning even a one night stay in Moulay Idriss.

  The hotel is located in the old town and we had good experience about the people in the twon. The old lady who kept the house was very friendly even though she could not speak English. Her heart was there in the job to serve. The room is wide with windows open to outside, making a good airflow even though we had to withstand the children's play ... wat mensen zeggen » noices until midnight. It told us how local people spent their summer night. The hotel is located near a water fountain where ladies came to collect - The lady who attended us was lovely, and the view from the terrace was excelent. Really enjoyed our stay at Al Andaloussiya. I trully recommend it.

  The riad is simply amazing. We have stayed in several riads in Fes and other towns in Morocco, and none came close to lola Halima. Yves the owner provided fantastic service and was a tremendous host throughout. It is within easy reach of Fes, Volubilis and Ifrane, and allows great day trips. Highly recommended! - A gorgeous riad, which resembles a palace (and indeed it once belonged to a member of the royal family), well kept by a French university professor, a smart old man filled with humour. The Riad has a beautiful furniture, a lovely garden, and the keeper provides guests with a lavish breackfast. One of the highlights of our staying in Morocco.
