  Loved the take of a modern Riad built in the traditional fashion located in the middle of the mayhem of the Souk of the old Medina. Ideally located to truly experience both the old and the new Marrakech. Why stay in the 'sterile' new city hotels and never experience Marrakech as it's meant to be experienced? What a place to escape to from the mayhem of the souks of the old Medina and the travails of the daily drudgery - The staff were very attentive and friendly. Thank you to Majid for delicious breakfast and great service. Great hostess who was checking on guests' feedback on daily basis. We appreciated being showed the way to the main square the first evening and that there was always a member of staff waiting on the corner of the main street to escort us to the riad late at night. Great facilities and atmosphere to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh medina.

  We stayed 2 nights with room and breakfast. The room and bathroom were large with all the amenities needed. The buffet breakfast offered an extensive choice and was also very well presented. The restaurant staff was plentiful but seemed disinterested in serving the guests. However the front desk staff and bellmen were very helpful with great perso... wat mensen zeggen » nalities. Furthermore, I forgot my passport in the room safe and Fatima-ez-hra (the front office manager) saved the day by immediately shipping it to - The hotel has an excellent swimming pool, ideal for relaxing and for the kids to play. Rooms are spacious and with luxury level on the details. The hotel is 10 min away from the medina by taxi. The staff is friendly and very professional. Food is offered as buffet or as standard menu on the two available restaurants. The quality of both is exceptional.

  The room was understated luxury. Sumptuous bed and pillows. Bright white linen. Lovely design with a local Moroccan influence in its elegant simplicity. Staff were lovely, helpful but not pushy.   We were efficiently collected from the airport and brought to the door of the Riad. From that moment we received the most outstanding service imaginable: we were greeted in person and offered refreshments to relax. We were allowed to drop our bags early in our room and discovered it beautifully adorned, decorated with rose petals and with a stunni... wat mensen zeggen » ng basket of roses to celebrate our daughter's birthday that day. We went off on a guided tour of the Medina, arranged previously through the Riad and - Wow! where do I start from? We travel every month but this is the place we will go back to just for the sake of this hotel - Dar Anika and its epitome of hospitality. We were treated like the Royals with such warmth and passion.The staff treated us like their extended family including the owner brothers!   Nice and fairly intimate hotel of very high standard which we picked to escape the city of Marrakech for a few days towards the end of our trip to Morocco. It was a perfect place for relaxation. Rooms are excellent, spotless clean and very spacious (we stayed in the Art Deco room, which is one of the smaller). Facilities are great (incl. a cinema,... wat mensen zeggen » which we made frequent use of, and a small but good spa), and one of the pools are heated, thankfully. The restaurant is pretty good, both local cous - Tigmiza provided us with the best care from the busy Marrakech. The occasionally tachy interior design were balanced with no kids and we were absolutely perfectly met by the personal and friendly staff. We had a great stay.
