  We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors, and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a fantastic time. They made every effort to ensure that the place was comfortable and beautiful while respecting the Moroccan style and ... wat mensen zeggen » culture. They wanted to make us feel at home as their guests, but did not overwhelm us with attention and respected our space. Their kind / friendly r - From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us. The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation. Break

  Truly amazing--a real gem!! Our riad experience in Janurary of this year was good....but in no way compares to the fabulous March surprise that awaited us at Dar Akal! This riad is luxurious & comfortable in a perfect location to explore the wonders of Marrakech...the ambience is magnificent!   This Riad is, simply, perfect! Before we had even arrived the customer service we received was excellent. We stayed here for 4 nights whilst on our honeymoon in Marrakech. The owners, Charlotte & Patrice are extremely friendly and hospitable, as are Abdul, Ahmed and the rest of the team. They also kindly stored our bags while we were on a desert tour.
