  The Ibis is situated on the outskirts of town a very short taxi drive away from the old Medina (haggle the price before getting in, we paid just 2dh about 2 euros each way for 2 people in a petite taxi and 5dh for 4 in a grand taxi each way). Although it is right by the modern train station there is little noise from the trains. We were touring in our own car and were - We spent three nights there and took two day trips from Fes (Meknes, 1 hour and Taza 2 hours). The hotel's proximity to the train station made it an ideal location for us, though it is still only a short petit taxi ride (10mins) to the Medina (9.50 Dirhams on the meter, though be careful because most taxis outside are picking up people from the train station and ripping them off. One taxi quoted us 40 Dirhams) There is a nice outdoor pool on the ground floor. Buffet breakfast was nice.

  Just off the main street which makes it an ideal location. The actual road the hotel is based leaves a lot to be desired but it's a very short walk to lots of cafes and eateries. The room was very clean and comfortable.   I liked everything about this Riad. It was exactly what I needed. Close to the Madina but not inside which meant I knew where I was at all times. It is within 2 min walk to the Blue Gate and close enough to walk to the brand new mall in the new city. If that's not enough The staff there is the best I have encountered on my 2 month trip. Can't say enough kind things about Fatima and her staff. - Wa had a wonderfull stay in the riad. It was our first trip in Morroco and Fes and it was a real pleasure to stay in this riad which is well situated, in the medina and not far from an entrance (Bab Boujloud) which helps you not to get lost ! The reception and the rooms of the hotel are very nice and well decorated, in a local style, and the atmosphere is very warm. The staff is very kind.
