This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

The riad is beautifully decorated: really stunning in a traditional Moroccan style. It could be hard to find on one's own even though it's not far from the main square. The room (suite) is big and very clean. Good breakfast than you can have in the roof terrace. The couple that runs the rial are very nice and helpful. Make sure you let them know that you want your room cleaned daily, because without your approval they will not do it. This is a brand new Riad, it openned in June 2013.

  We stayed here for 5 nights in November and Riad Lorsya couldn't have suited us more perfectly. It is brilliantly situated just off Marrakech's souks in the centre of the Medina and amazingly peaceful considering its central, bustling location.   I stayed in this Riad with a group of friends, the staff were so helpful and assisted us in every way we needed. The rooms are so clean and warm and comfy with a lot of room to choose from - The staff was very nice.   Veronique the owner is genuinely friendly, and will take care of you, nothing is too much trouble. She and Jean-Marc made us feel very welcome. Veronique met us at the City wall when we arrived by taxi, and walked with us to the ryad. When we departed, she waited with us outside the City wall until the taxi arrived. This is super service.   This Riyad is in the center of the city, a bit difficult to find but once you do, you can find it after easily. It has very pleasant open patio where you get breakfast or you can sit there during day. You can use the terrace on the floors next to your room too. When we had to leave once too early for the trip, we got prepared breakfast left in pation. The price for - Great location - stayed at another riad in marrakech later in the trip, and this was by far a better location. Wonderfully located in the heart of the souks.   We came to the riad through the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with the host Julien leading the way. As we entered Riad Bibtia, the tranquility and atmosphere of the building really struck us. We had been looking for a riad that had traditional Moroccan design and we could not have hoped for more. The lovely hostess Françoise greeted us with min... wat mensen zeggen » t tea. The hospitality from all the staff throughout our six day stay was faultless. We enjoyed our breakfasts in the riad's atrium and ate splendidly - The family really takes care of their gests! Both so that you feel very welcome to their riad and to help you to plan/do nice things during your stay. When we need help to buy some jewellery, we were nicely followed to several serious shops and helped to get at good price. So very serviceminded! Thanks! PS: Taxi t/f airport may differ much. We used the same driver both ways (40 DH from just outside airport/50 DH drop off at airport). This nice and trustfull driver: 0602458448.

  Absolutely delightful staff, just walking through the doors of the Riad it felt like coming home. There was a wonderful family feeling about the place and a great relationship between the staff and we were treated more as family than as simply paying guests. A beautiful place .. our little oasis in the heart of the Medina. Olivier, Mustafa, Abdu, Ai - Riad Aloes is perfectly situated in the Medina within easy reach all the markets and main sites. The Riad is quiet, beautiful and clean, a lovely place to relax in the hustle bustle of Marrakech. The breakfast of fresh fruits and croissants or pancakes was delicious. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Olivier couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Marrakech.

One of the highlight of our trip was the stay at Riad Alamir and its superb architecture and its amazingly friendly Staff, especially Rachid.   The front desk staff were wonderful, especially Sara. She was always smiling and courteous, and very helpful. The hotel has a beautiful setting and the rooms are a wonderful size. We were upgraded when we arrived, and it was a fabulous surprise. Their tour guides that they use were great as well. Hassan was our driver/guide to Essaouira, and Hamid was our tour guide for the market area. - Excellent hotel, excellent staff: everything exceeded my expectations. I told the hotel the stay was a 60º birthday gift for my husband, and they invited us for a special cake, and they gave us a superior suite than the one I reserved. The best location to visit the city. We have the better experience for all our travels. If you want to visit Marrakesh, stay in Les Jardins de La Koutoubia.
