Fortunately this place is like a diamond in the rough!!! The hotel although a modern building had lots of traditional mooriish style fitments...i.e. lovely wooden decorated ceilings,, carved doors and patterned tile floors. The glass of tea and a pastry on arrival was welcome, and car parking was easy. Clean, comfortable, and an excellent buffet breakfast by the pool, which sadly we didn't have time to try!

  There really wasn't anything not to like. The hotel was fantastic and although we booked a suite, on our arrival the staff upgraded us to an even better one with 2 private terraces. The service was great, food was good and the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. I travel around the world and this is without question the best trip i have had for a long time.   This was the 2nd time that we have stayed at The Red House and it was just as good as the first time. Someone from The Red House came to pick us up from the airport and was already waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. This was a great way to start the holiday. The staff are magnificent - very friendly and only too happy to he - We read very positive hotel reviews with some caution as to their truthfulness, but all the very positive comments about The Red House were true. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech. All amenities, including the lovely pool, are great and the staff, starting with Abdel the front office manager, are warm and very helpful. We hope to go back. Stongly reco
