  My boyfriend and I booked a two night stay here on a trek through Marrakech. Having never been to the city before we didn't know much about location, ammenities or prices. Fortunately this place is like a diamond in the rough!!! There are many restaurants, bars and shopping right arou - The room was as described and everthing worked as it should. We arrived late, around 10.30pm, and we're told by reception that the restaurants in the area would be closed. Well, we walked outside and on the corner was a very busy simple style fish restaurant. The directrice was so kind to drive us there and helped us in the hospital.   There really wasn't anything not to like. The hotel was fantastic and although we booked a suite, on our arrival the staff upgraded us to an even better one with 2 private terraces. The service was great, food was good and the staff were all very friendly and helpfull.   The staff at this riad were lovely. They were attentive yet gave enough space to relax but were available whenever needed and very friendly and warm. The roof terrace is great, it gets the sun until its close to setting and has a choice of sitting areas, including a bed! However it's quite a walk from the main square, 20 mins fast pace. This was fine for us - Our staying at the Riad Nejma lounge was perfect. The people who works there were always nice with us and helped in everything that we needed with a big smile. Our room was beautiful, with an maroc atmosphere and it was really confortable and always perfectly cleaned. The breakfast was also delicious and the place that we ate it was nice. El Riad is a perfect place to rest from thw wonderfull chaos that is marraquexe.
