  This hotel is simply lovely! Comfortable, Cosy and Clean!! The hotel is very well located within the gates of the Medina. One of the highlight of our trip was the stay at Riad Alamir and its superb architecture and its amazingly friendly Staff, especially Rachid.   I cannot speak highly enough of Riad Dar Ten or Sofiane (I'm so sorry if I spelt your name wrong!) He not only showed us how to get around when there was no need too, but went on a Sunday to get me medicine when I was ill was always on hand to help, patient, considerate. One of the best men you are likely to meet anywhere.   This Riad was amazing, all I wanted from our Moroccan trip was to see all the amazing tile and plaster work and once I stepped into this place I didn't need to leave! It was a beautiful exotic oasis great for relaxing by the pool reading a book or just staring at your beautiful surroundings. No taxis needed apart from the airport. Breakfast w - Stayed in a 15th century tiled room with stained glass windows and painted ceiling. This riad is central in Marrakesh but our room was silent at night. After you've been in this hotel you are completely spoilt for any of the other buildings in the city as it is SO beautiful!! This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

  Staying at Dar Attajmil was like staying with a very attentive friend - the staff made us feel at home and at the same time were wonderfully accomodating and flexible. Unlike many other establishments, the prices for all services given at the hotel were reasonable and we enjoyed a lovely dinner, breakfasts and massage/hammam treatments. Beautifully furnished, fantastic staff and the vase of flowers and bowl of fruit in my room were especially appreciated.
