Excellent location. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel has real Mexican character. The rooms are spacious. They could use a bit of updating but they were fine.

Wasn't able to get Wifi in the room because of the thickness of the walls. But it was available in the main areas.
The mattresses were hard and difficult to sleep well on. The included breakfast is acceptable, but very limited. The staff was acceptable, but somewhat cold and, in some instances, more attentive to "diverse" personal interests than customer needs or satisfaction.
I had booked a single room, but when I arrived, all the single rooms were taken, so I was put in a double room. But, the hotel told me they would move me the next day to a vacant single. I agreed reluctantly, but, in my experience, most hotels just wear their mistake and don't inconvenience the client.
