  We are traveling on a budget and for what we paid for our 4 night stay the room was fine, at $24 per night the king room did the job. We had a king size bed that was a little hard but not too bad, a big flat screen tv with cable, bathroom with good water pressure and hot water and free soaps, shampoo, shower cap and bottled water. The room was a d... wat mensen zeggen » ecent size so we weren't tripping over one another and it was in a good location only a 5km walk to the basilica de Guadalupe and the street it runs o - This is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in Mexico. It's even better than most hotels in the USA. Nice bed, soft pillows, free cable TV with porn channels, hot water in the shower, snacks available at the front desk. Noise level was about the same as any other hotel. The price was awesome! We actually paid less for the room than we paid for the taxi to take us there and back from the Airport.

Location: in (Zocalo=D.T.)+front of mini bus st. + close&around many Bus&MTR st. + Rest.&coffee&shop - (300m/5min. walk): to most of attractions (Zocalo+D.T.+Cathedral+Temple+Tourist walking area) - (500m/10min. walk): ("Allende MTR st."=$3 for... wat mensen zeggen » any 1 trip) + (Double deck tourist bus=not expensive but not important) - (1km/15min. walk): Garibaldi sq.+Musuem of arts+Alameda(Park) central+... - - Cannot beat price. Can arrange tours, and buy bus tickets from reception (though bus tickets have commission), we had a double room which was spacious, good bathroom. Free breakfast and dinner - breakfast varied each day, though tended to run out later in the morning. Dinner a bit hit and miss, but lovely to have the option.
