  We arrived just after having stayed in the jungle at Sepilok (which was after days of diving and a long bus journey), so we really needed somewhere clean and comfortable. The Sheraton Sandakan far exceeded my expectations on both fronts. It was extremely good value for money. Staff were all very friendly and professional, going the extra mile for... wat mensen zeggen » us as well. Breakfast was good, with a range of options to suit the Asian or Western palate. Location was convenient - it took us less than an hour - The staff at this hotel, did much more than expected. I had a birthday cake delivered to my room a very pleasant surprise. Especially Stella.What ever we asked they went out of their way to help us. The best service we have ever had from all staff, in any place we stayed in Malaysia for 4 weeks, could not fault service, type of room & cleanliness.

  Rasa Ria is not a cheap resort but it is a lovely one. The rooms were well thoughtfully designed for the traveler - for once the room lighting was such that you could actually see in the room. What I liked the most about Rasa Ria was that some activities were included in the room price such as kayaking and sailing. The restaurants were also reason... wat mensen zeggen » ably priced. I didn't get the feeling that I was always putting my hand in my pocket. The Orang-utan sanctuary was an added bonus. - I have been to many 5 star hotels but this is definitely one of the best for a family vacation. It has two wings - Ocean wing and Garden Wing. Both have a beautiful pool. The garden wing pool has a very nice slide for the kids. There are 3 restaurants which serve really nice food. We wanted to extend by 1 day but there was not a single room available!

  I just got back recently from a trip to Kota Kinabalu with my brothers and sisters. We stayed at Hotel 63. I was very sceptical about this hotel as I was tasked to do the travel arrangement including hotel bookings. But I was, including my entire group, very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, the very helpful and courteous staff and the entir... wat mensen zeggen » e building. Its all new and working very well and has recently been renovated. The beds and bathrooms beat many of so called '4 Stars' hotels. We all - • The front desk is superb. They are fast and servers you with a smile. • The rooms are superb! Is so spacious and clean. The Rooms are facing city view overlooking busy city. • The toilet is clean, and the house keeping provide clean towels every day if you request. The bed is comfortable. • Our booking doesn't include breakfast which I think is not a big deal.   Staff here were excellent in particular the concierge service (special mention to Sylver and Philip for going out of their way to be helpful and friendly). The Le Meridien is a nice, well presented hotel, the rooms are clean / nice and the pool area is fun and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet wasn't included in our package but we ordered... wat mensen zeggen » room service for breakfast and that was very good, the poolside club sandwich we ordered was also good. So I would guess their chefs know what they a - Everything was fantastic. For such a large hotel the staff were extremely friendly. The service was excellent.. We loved the hotel location and the location of the gym looking over the sea would have to be the best location for a gym we have been in. We also really enjoyed the sundowner with the staff on the Wednesday evening. The f old at the restaurant was of a high standard and the service we could not fault. Thankyou for a superb stay!

  The room was great, the seaview excellent. The club service was good and the evening snacks selection adequate for an afternoon tea session with friends - The club facilities were excellent. It was great to be able to have early breakfast then return for morning coffee. The city is very accessible.
