  Bee Bee Guesthouse is in a great location if you want to be near the tourism area but not in it. It is still in a very central location without sacrificing peace and quiet. The view from our room was beautiful. We had a sunset view of the mountains through our huge window or on our balcony.   Everything. The rooms were big and bright and clean. We were lucky to have one with view over the river. The view is spectacular. However, even if we didnt have such a great view, the rooms would still be great value for money.   Michael and Marcus are so nice, friendly and helpful offering great advice about where to go and what to do - they really make Lao Haven what it is. For us the location was perfect, a short 5 minute (if that) walk to the bars and restaurants meaning it is very quiet at night as it is far enough away from the backpacker area. We did not book any to... wat mensen zeggen » urs through them as we wanted a full days trekking (rather than Kayaking or tubing), but did book our onward bus tickets which were cheaper than throu - Extremely helpful and personable family running the hotel who make the effort to know their guests and offer advice on things to do. They also tried to accommodate to requests for modifications to the tours offered by their partners. Rooms are comfortable and clean. You can count on them to offer help if you are lost hiking on your own in Vang Vieng -- make sure you get their number though. I like the fact that it's two blocks away from the bars -- which is great on nights when I want to chill
