The staff is brilliant, really trying to make you comfortable, although you do sometimes feel interfering into their family life. food is ok, not exceptional. location is beautiful, setting and house as well (especially for skiing in high season when the lifts are open) , but you do have to walk up the hill at night if you want to eat something in the town. you have to share toilet, onsen/shower and washroom with others including the family. beds and pillows are very hard.Not cheap for the room you are getting, with only a few beds into it. We had 2 rooms with 2 kids (4 and 3) and an infant, but it would have fitted into 1 room, as this was a 3 beds room with an extra bed. Would have saved us a lot.
