Located in the Norikura Kogen Mountains, Onsen Yado Aobasou offers indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths and Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. A free shuttle is available to and from Mount Norikura Ski Resort, which is a 5-minute drive away. Rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with heating facilities and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests, while bathrooms and toilets are shared. Private reservable hot-spring baths are available for an extra cost and guests can use the shared fridge. Ski storage and ski equipment rentals are available on site as well. Luggage storage is provided at the front desk. Traditional multi-course meals featuring local Sansai vegetables are served for dinner. A Japanese-style breakfast is available, and all meals are served at the dining room. Aobasou Onsen Yado is a 40-minute drive from Shinshimashima Train Station and a 1-hour drive from JR Matsumoto Train Station.
