Just 10 minutes from JR Hakuba Train Station on the free shuttle, Grove Inn features a cosy lounge with a library, a bar and a wood-burning stove. Rooms have an LCD TV and a private bathroom. Grove Inn Skala has both Western rooms and Japanese rooms, which have traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. All rooms are heated, with a toiletries and a bathtub. Some have free wired internet. A free shuttle operates on request within Hakuba Village. Happo-One Ski Resort is 2 km away, and Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort and Hakuba47 Winter Sports Park are both about 5 km away. Parking is free. Guests can relax with a Thai massage, soak in the hot public bath or check email at the internet station, for a fee. The lounge has a piano and a guitar. Western/Japanese breakfast sets and a multi-cuisine course dinner are served at the dining room.

Wat mensen zeggen

I chose this place based on position as well as being a little more cozy than a hotel and didn't regret it. I stayed with my young brother in the pre-season with the hopes there would be some snow, and luckily for us most resorts were partially open. It is a short walk from the super jump from the Nagano Olympics also (which sadly we could not climb to the top as they had maintenance that day). Their website said to call once we arrive at Hakuba station so they could pick us up, which they hap.
