  Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! Getting to attend the Chievo/AC Milan game was one of the highlights of our trip, and Villa Mainard helped make that p... wat mensen zeggen » ossible - thank you!!! He also recommended the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives - all in all, a great stay. - We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)

We had a young family and stayed in the studio which was away from the main building, but never the less beautiful. It was truly luxurious.   Nuova Opera Rooms is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The hosts were very friendly and we were surprised when we realised on the second day of our stay that they were identical twins :)) The room was very clean, full of light and with a great view over the hills.   A charming old property and one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. The owner was delightful and couldn't do enough for guests. The cleanliness was exemplary and could teach some 4 star hotels a thing or two. A thoughtful touch was the small room which provided free water, coffee and tea. A short direct walk into the centre of Verona. - Excellent location, just 5 mins walk to centre of Verona. Lovely massive room and bathroom, furnished in rustic style. There is a separate sitting room for guests with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, water dispenser and beer, all free. The garden, where breakfast was served is lovely and breakfast was varied and a full buffet available. There is a separate door to access the rooms so you can come in late without disturbing the owner. Free wifi in rooms.

  Monica, the owner, is a sublime hostess. She is warm and welcoming and could not have tried harder to make my family feel at home and benefit from our trip with local information. The location is good for the city of Verona, the surrounding countryside and Lake Garda. You will need a car to get to it and to get about but Monica was again a wonderful source on information on how to achieve this. - Great place and great host. It's close to Verona (10-15 min drive) and a great value for money. My room was large and of high quality. The hotel is on a farm, which immerses you in nature and quiteness, but still a very short ride away from the center of Verona. The host was extremely friendly and always available to help you. She gave me very valuable advice regarding Verona, restaurants, parking, etc. Easy to find, even at night, using google maps.

  Great apartment in nice area, great location - bus stop across road and taxi only 10E. We had a car & found the location easy enough to find- car parking no problem onsite. The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. Staff were fab, really helpful. Breakfast not included but available if needed. We arrived by car and loved that parking was free...we loved the hotel and stayed in a room disconnected from the hotel so it felt like a small apartment. it was also perfect to travel around the area! We arrived late and were relieved to find that the hotel had a restaurant where we had a great meal at a reasonable price. Location was just outside of Verona and was extremely peaceful in comparison. Staff were more than friendly and helpful and would recommend the hotel whole heartedly.
