They e-mailed us before our arrival to offer any help we might need, so we wrote for directions from the train station, as we would arrive late. They sent complete info – bus numbers, times...   Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! Getting to attend the Chievo/AC Milan game was one of the highlights of our trip, and Villa Mainard helped make that p... wat mensen zeggen » ossible - thank you!!! He also recommended the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives - all in all, a great stay. - We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do.   Set in the hills of Verona with amazing views. The design and architecture are superb. The owner Alberto welcomes you with a warm smile and makes you feel at home. We had a young family and stayed in the studio which was away from the main building, but never the less beautiful. It was truly luxurious.   Monica, the owner, is a sublime hostess. She is warm and welcoming and could not have tried harder to make my family feel at home and benefit from our trip with local information. The location is good for the city of Verona, the surrounding countryside and Lake Garda. You will need a car to get to it and to get about but Monica was again a wonderful source on information on how to achieve this. - Great place and great host. It's close to Verona (10-15 min drive) and a great value for money. My room was large and of high quality. The hotel is on a farm, which immerses you in nature and quiteness, but still a very short ride away from the center of Verona. The host was extremely friendly and always available to help you. She gave me very valuable advice regarding Verona, restaurants, parking, etc. Easy to find, even at night, using google maps.

The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. Staff were fab, really helpful. Breakfast not included but available if needed. We arrived by car and loved that parking was free...we loved the hotel and stayed in a room disconnected from the hotel so it felt like a small apartment. it was also perfect to travel around the area! We arrived late and were relieved to find that the hotel had a restaurant where we had a great meal at a reasonable price.
