  When we stayed here it was the fourth leg of our honeymoon trip across Italy. On arrival we were taken aback at how beautiful the hotel was and its amazing central location.   Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! Getting to attend the Chievo/AC Milan game was one of the highlights of our trip, and Villa Mainard helped make that p... wat mensen zeggen » ossible - thank you!!! He also recommended the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives - all in all, a great stay. - We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)

We had a young family and stayed in the studio which was away from the main building, but never the less beautiful. It was truly luxurious.   Nuova Opera Rooms is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The hosts were very friendly and we were surprised when we realised on the second day of our stay that they were identical twins :)) The room was very clean, full of light and with a great view over the hills. The location is good for the city of Verona, the surrounding countryside and Lake Garda. You will need a car to get to it and to get about but Monica was again a wonderful source on information on how to achieve this. - Great place and great host. It's close to Verona (10-15 min drive) and a great value for money. My room was large and of high quality. The hotel is on a farm, which immerses you in nature and quiteness, but still a very short ride away from the center of Verona. The host was extremely friendly and always available to help you. She gave me very valuable advice regarding Verona, restaurants, parking, etc. Easy to find, even at night, using google maps.
