And on the top of that, Alla Vite Dorata is well situated in Venize : in a quiet area but near the center (10/15 min by walk). Excellent position in a quiet corner of the Cannaregio but within walking distance of major tourist sites. Easy to find, even at night as only a few minutes from the water bus from Marco Polo Airport. Lovely well equipped bedroom and good breakfast, truly memorable if you can get the table overlooking the canal. Alexandra and her staff are very welcoming.

  We stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 days celebrating our wedding anniversary.It was fantastic, the room beautiful, comfortable,the amenities really nice.It was spacious,the furniture marvellous. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There is free tea, coffee, and cookies 24h in the lobby and the free breakfast is perfect. The hotel has every amenity you could possibly want. The location is great - not very close to the attractions but less than a 15 minute walk to any of the major landmarks.

  De uiterst vriendelijke staf. Airco in de kamer. De ligging van het hotel(vlak bij het gezellige Campo Santo Stefano,bezienswaardigheden op paar minuutjes lopen-afstand en vanaf de vaporettohalte San Samuele is het hotel zelfs "bruggetjes-loos"bereikbaar,wat met een zware koffer erg fijn is. - Het ontbijt was misschien niet erg uitgebreid zoals in ... wat mensen zeggen » grotere hotels, maar de kwaliteit was zonder enige twijfel beter. Croissant en brood dagvers, en geen opgewarmde kost. Kamer was zeer proper. Kon zonder problemen met blote voeten rondlopen. En het bed, gewoon perfect. De ligging van het hotel is ook een aanrader : op 3 minuutjes van de vaporetto (S. Angelo). Als we ooit terugkeren, kiezen we weerom voor dit aangenaam hotelletje.

  The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet. Go explore:) - The apartment is huge and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is marketed for 4 people but could easily sleep 6. Also it was only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. Not the most stylish of places but it was clean and spacious.

  I chose Alloggi Marinella principally for its convenient location near Piazza Roma and the railway station, but the Rialto and San Marco are only an interesting 20 minute walk away, and the ferries stop nearby. It's a curious little pensione, with some rooms located in a sort of "mews" behind the main building, with a separate entrance, and others... wat mensen zeggen » located upstairs in the main building. I stayed in both and both had their charms and both were very comfortable. Perhaps stay in the main building i - Excellent location if you are on a cruise or need to be near rail or road transport. It's also close to one of the major water bus terminals. Quiet street with shuttered windows. Room was small but clean with adequate storage. Free WiFi available in the lobby/breakfast area, but I managed to get it in the room as it was directly above this area. Staff a very helpful with suggestions and directions.

  If you are looking for somewhere with a bit of a caring, personal touch - this is the place to stay! The owner was really lovely to us - because it was our honeymoon, there was a bottle of prosecco in our room when we arrived!
