  Loved everything about the Hotel Valbruna. Arrived an hour later than arranged at midnight to be precise. Reception still attended. Room was simply sublime, view in morning, awesome! Owner Marco and his team were just wonderful. Wish we'd had more time to explore the area as well as enjoy their fabulous hospitality. You will not be disappointed!! - Very friendly & helpful staff, nice style to the hotel. The Julian Alps are well worth a visit, great cycling and hiking. There are extensive sealed cycle ways running into Slovenia and Austria & some great climbs incl Montasio made famous in 2013 Giro.
