Located about 100 meters from the Spanish Steps and a comfortable 2.5 km walk from both the Vatican and colleseum this hotel is quiet (good double glazed and sound proofed windows) and only comprises 5 rooms.   This was a great place to stay in Rome! The staff was very helpful and informative. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a nice size bathroom. We were surprised by how quiet the place was given the lively weekend nightlife in Trastevere. We really loved the neighborhood feel of Trastevere. There were numerous bars and restaurants to choose fro - I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

He also told me where I could go at night that was not full of tourists. The breakfast served in my room was also very nice.

  Paolo was very helpful and accommodating when I was still planing my trip. We checked in a little late and Coordinated with Paolo to have someone there at the time of our arrival. The apartments are very comfortable and spacious. The shower was the most normal and similar - The Ripetta 25 apartment we stayed in was fantastic, it had both design and functionality, and was cleaned and organized. It is the best way to visit Rome without worrying about restaurants. In the small kitchen you have everything you need to prepare a nice meal (better than in many restaurants!) They provide you with salt, sugar, coffee, olive oil and all the basic kitchen equipment. All you need to do is to walk 5 minutes to the supermarket. The staff was amazing and we really felt at home.
