The Hotel is wonderful! We stayed there several years ago and it has been updated and managed not to lose the personal touches that made us return. Dining is special and the patron makes sure he takes each order from each table. His daughter is friendly helpful and always sorts out issues instantly. We have spent two days at Lefay hotel in Gargnano, a spectacular five star hotel over the hills surrounding Garda lake. Toscolano Maderno is in the center of the lake in terms of location, you can go anywhere with the regular Boat service on the lake. This hotel had a real homely feel. It was a lot older than the other hotels on our trip but this was nice as it had lots of character and charm which was enhanced by the hilarious manager. The breakfast was a little limited although nice. What made this hotel really special was its location to the Lake and nearby Maderno. Also the music night that the manager laid on for the guests was fab. We took the ferry from Maderno across to Torri del Benaco priced at 13Euros per adult return. A great bas
