  The Castiglione del Bosco was absolutely amazing. A must stay if visiting Tuscany. The winery is amazing, as is their wine (the '04 Brunello is like sipping Heaven).   There are many 5 stars hotels in Florence. Il Salviatino is definitly the most special of them all. It's comfort, beauty, luxury, perfect location, and hospitality goes beyond any other experience. We stayed three nights there and longed to stay much longer. Do yourself and your compagnions a favour, go nowhere else but to Il Salviatino if you are in Florence - The hotel is a delight and our garden room was more than we had expected. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

  We stayed at Villa Cora in July which was a pretty hot season in Florence. And Villa Cora has an amazing pool area which is a huge advantage among the best hotels in Florence. Chill by the pool after a great day at the museums. It's just fantastic. Staff is professional. Food is good. One of the best hotels we have ever been. And believe - The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place.
