  Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast. They give you good advice on what to do, discounts for scooter renting and they even returned for us our scooter when we decided to leave in the first ferry. Alessio, Silvio, Francesca, and Stefan were wonderful and welcoming in every way. It made for a family type of environment, which was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to the islands.   Rustig, (maar dit is relatief : want in déze periode is het wellichtoveral rustig: we waren de enige klanten).maar ook rustig tegenoverhet verkeer: we waren aan de straatkant, maar toch niks gestoord,want uitstekend sluitende ramen (nieuw), maar ik kan me inbeelden datje dan in de zomer de ramen wil openzetten... From the hospitality and comfort of checking in (sitting on the balcony drinking a complementary wine) to the fantastic breakfast...and all the special touches in between (shuttle service, internet)...the best hotel I have ever stayed at...The hotel staff was by far the best ever exper... wat mensen zeggen » ienced... a level above. The room was superb. - I had high expectations for this hotel, but we were still blown away by the conscientiousness of the staff, attention to detail in the rooms, and overall sense of precision. This is a lovely and very special place, and the breakfast doesn't disappoint! Even as a vegan, I found myself with more delicious options than can be properly sampled in a single meal. And a great view of Etna, too!

  A lovely recent refurbishment, very spacious rooms, amazing bathroom with colour therapy built in! It is run by Massimo, known as Salvatore :), and his lovely wife, who bakes all the bread and cakes for breakfast, so you really feel you're at home! The breakfasts were generous, delicious and varied and the staff always prepared to give just the right coffee with a smile.

  Previous reviews have not lied! This was fabulous and all the superlatives I can think of. It was the best place we stayed, best atmosphere, definitely!!! The best food. The father cooks and he is gifted. The atmosphere created by Emanuelle and Philippe while serving is serene. We felt like we were on our honey moon again. Philippe was really helpful when we were checking out and obviously is a hard working man interested in making the place a superb joliday loc - Really nice staff and the public areas were tastefully decorated and very pleasant. The restaurant was very good indeed.

  The location, up a private road, was superb giving wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and even a glimpse of the sea. The restaurant was excellent as was the service. Tomasso, one of the waiters, was excellent and also very funny! We were upgraded to a luxury room which was extremely large, comfortable and luxurious. Great dinner, reasonably priced, and breakfast; lovely walks. SOme of the facilities, such as gym were not available for some reason but we did not really mind.
