  Everything!!! We were so happy with the staff, room, and location of Antica Perla, that we had to extend our vacation there one extra night. We have three small children and the location of this hotel was perfect. We loved that it was a little out of town because there was no "city noise" or traffic to bother our relaxation!!   The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of all the historical sites. From our hotel room, we could see the beautiful cupola of the church next door. The swimming pool/spa is beautiful and the best feature of the hotel. The restaurant is located in an quaint courtyard. We stayed 4 nights and the staff were very helpful, and were particularly obliging when we wanted to change our room (personal reasons) - they really wanted to ensure that we were happy. Breakfasts were excellent. Location is also excellent with ease of access to the historical sites.

  Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Antonio on reception who arranged car hire and airport transfers for us. Nothing was a problem for him. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with a view of the beach and isola bella. Great selection for breakfast and reasonably priced snack menu. We felt we got good value for money. Thumbs up - The staff were very courteous and helpful. We stayed only one night but the were happy for us to leave our car in their garage on the day we were leaving until 5pm so that we had time both to go to the beach in the morning and then to take the cable car to Taormina and have a good look around. The pool and roof terrace are great with fantastic views, likewise the restaurant/bar. If I was to go again I would definately stay for longer.

  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. You don’t pay from midnight to 8:00 and for a few hours mid-day, so it is not expensive or a ... wat mensen zeggen » problem. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Personal attention and courtesy was given by all the staff: at reception, breakfast bar and evening drinks. Thank you Residence La Gancia, we will recommend you to all our friends.
