  The staff was welcoming and friendly - even before checking in, they offered information per email on what to do and see. Excellent location to view Etna - fresh air - short walk to the cableway. The room with a terrace is highly recommendable - it gave us a great view both to the sea and to the mountain. I recommend half board; the dinner alternatives were varied, the servings plentyful and the food was just v - Excellent hotel, walking distance from the cable car going up Mount Etna. We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay. The room was great, super clean, wifi is great.

  The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The location was in a quiet area yet two blocks from the main street.   The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... wat mensen zeggen » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good internet connection. Parking always available outside the hotel. A good-sized room. The heating/cooling system was excellent at all times and not noisy. The shower was very large (although a bit old and tired). The view over the harbour from our room. The panoramic view in the breakfast room and a good breakfa... wat mensen zeggen » st with cold meats, cheese, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice (as well as the usual Italian cakes). - The location was superb and as we chose not to drive on our short break, the buses, bars and restaurants were all on our doorstep. Our room had lovely sea views and we were not disappointed with anything. Our host was most welcoming and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Walter for your hospitality and kindness.

  My husband and I stayed here with our two little girls last weekend. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. We booked an apartment and got one on the second floor (or "first" in europe) with a kitchen. There was a nice view of the sea, not spectacular but definitely more than I expected. The room(s) were very clean, surprisingly quiet, and well ... wat mensen zeggen » laid out. It wasn't luxurious, but for the price, you really can't beat it - it was great. The hotel was more of a B&B than a hotel, which we real - Beautifully clean and very-well equipped, as others have stated. They welcomed our labrador, one of the reasons we chose this hotel. As it's family run, they were friendly, helpful and supplied a terrific, generous breakfast. I work in the tourism industry where people DO NOT clean up after themselves and it's an EXTREMELY GOOD IDEA that anyone who uses the kitchen facility should pay to have it cleaned. Also, as the hotel is a mere 200m from the sea, if people do not wish to pay to use the

  Very nice staff, absolutely helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel is well-located, very close to the city center (app. 10 minutes walk from Piazza D'uomo), and very close to the fancy bar, Spinella :) On the other hand the rooms are not noisy at all. The prices are very good compared to the location and the service. And the breakfast was just love... wat mensen zeggen » ly! The fresh bread with blood-orange juice and the desserts... Awesome! I can just reccomend Domus Hotel Catania to anyone! - Large, clean rooms, well equipped . The balconies facing Via Etnea are small, but yes, you do see Etna. Very nice staff, both at reception and breakfast. The central location on Via Etnea is convenient; of course it comes with street noise - but the solid window shutters together with the air condition solved our sleeping problems. In short, excellent value for money.
