  Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. I drive and SUV, parked it on the ramp and left the keys. The hotel staff moved around the vehicle and parked it.   The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

Although the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to the Autostrada and just a short drive to Ortigia Indoor pool is nice.   The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  The general staff attitude was excellent. English was well spoken and there were no serious communication difficulties. Although dining was a bit of a bear garden the choice of food was perfectly satisfactory, wine was included and there were no difficulties with teenagers having second or third helpings. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying themselves including groups of children i - The hotel is set in the lovely location between trees. It has excellent sporting facilities (including 50m swiming pool) as well as a little decking along sea front where you can rest and enjoy lovely views.
